Edwin Jackson: “I want to win a title with Unicaja”

In a Q+A with Rafael Guerra of La Opinion de Málaga, Edwin Jackson explained his goals with Unicaja and his reasons for leaving the French national team.

Jackson, who turns 26 in September, opted not to join France for EuroBasket so he could move to Málaga early. He wanted to get settled in, be comfortable in the city and be with the team for the entirety of their preseason schedule.

“For my confidence, it’s going to be very good,” Jackson said. “I have a little pressure on me at the beginning, but I think that’s good.”

Jackson was the leading scorer in the French league (18.8 points per game) before joining FC Barcelona mid-way through last season.
