Wear received a 10-day contract from the Sacramento Kings in March, but he was not retained.

Spain cuts Daní Díez and Quino Colom
Daní Díez and Quino Colom have been cut from the Spanish national team as head coach Sergio Scariolo trims his roster in preparation for EuroBasket.
Díez will now be free to join Unicaja for their entire preseason schedule. Colom, meanwhile, will head to Russia to join his new teammates at Unics Kazán.
The departure of Colom likely means that 22-year-old Valencia point guard Guillem Vives will join Sergio Rodriguez and Sergio Llull on the team. After naming his preliminary roster this summer, Scariolo said the following:
Spain plays its first friendly on Tuesday against Belgium. Tip-off is at 21:00 CET in Gijón.
