The New York Knicks selected Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Porzingis, who turns 20 in August, played with Sevilla in the Spanish ACB and EuroCup competitions.
He needs to improve his strength, but his height (7’1″ without shoes), wingspan (7’6″), athleticism and shooting ability make him one of the most intriguing prospects in the Draft. He has a smooth, quick release and his height makes his shot nearly impossible to contest.
At 7’1, Kristaps Porzingis made 53% of the shots he attempted after running off a perimeter screen. Very rare skill for a player his size.

No doubt Porzingis has bustability but ppl acting like he’s just some workout wonder. 20.5 PTS, 1.7 STL, 1.9 BLK per 40 in ACB/EuroCup at 19

He will join the Knicks next season, but fans should be patient. It could be 2-3 years before he starts performing at the level you’d expect from a No. 4 overall pick.
My favorite Kristaps Porzingis highlight. Drives right, evades defender, baptizes 7″3″ Walter Tavares, stare down https://t.co/HirJzh814s
